Go to Start---> Settings---->system ---> X-button and Disbale it normal..!

Thanks.. Stupid of me - I'm running one of Mechle's ROMs, and there isn't an X-Button icon, but I just disabled it from the popup...

Hello everyone,
Can someone answer some questions of 3.7 ROM (may be not related directly to it though)
1. If CommManager was started the X-Button application (ver. 1.51) doesn't see it's running and doesn't close it. Is it an issue?
2. Weather plugin wants to update forecast after some time (3-4 hour after last update). Being in roaming it's not always good to do this. Any ideas of how to force updates to manual mode?

Weather plugin, act like you are going to pick a city
go to the bottom right of the screen menu/ weather options and untick the automatically update box
comm manager is usually seen by the x button, it is closed automatically if you have athe close automatically with in x button options, hope this helps

Weather trick worked for me.
As of ComManager - still I can confirm if I close him it's still there running and it can be observed through standard Start-Settings-System-Memory-Running Programs tool. But... X-button doesn't see it's up and running.....

i can also confirm this for B&B v3.0 ger as well as v3.7 ger (beta)

I installed the 10-button comm manager from this thread:

on my HTC TyTN (with the official wm6).
Everything works fine, even after restarts, etc. But at one point (don't know what determines this point), the text on the buttons is screwed up: I only see small lines; the logos are still in order and it still works.
I suspect it has to do with the font, but I could be wrong. Is there a way to get this back to normal? (removing/installing doesn't solve it, only way I know to solve it is to perform a hard reset - which is quite drastic )

i think it was in the vp 3.62 thread, but someone else complained of a messed up font. turns out it was caused by a weather plugin i believe. do u have one installed?
Yes, I also have the 6-tab home plugin installed. The font and icons have been customized with the home customizer (but weather icons are still the default ones).
But IIRC, uninstalling the 6-tab home home plugin also didn't solve the issue...
What else could I try?

I didnt mean the HTC plugin. Check here, post 487. He fixed his.

Yup.
I is caused by Weatherpanel.
You have to rename/delete the 2 fonts in the weatherpanel folder, or change your weatherpanel theme to one that doesn't use those fonts.
It's a glitch caused by windows mobile defaulting to the last font used when it should default to a system font.
I'm a bit confused now... The Weatherpanel, is that that weathertab present in the 6-tab home plugin (as that is the only weatherthing I have installed)?
Where can I find those fonts that I ought to delete?
Just for test purposes, I deinstalled both the home-plugin and the comm manager, then re-installed the comm manager, but its font was still messed up.

Weatherpanel is not the same thing. I havent actually used it, so maybe GldRush can put some pics up to show u what it looks like. Ur problem could very well be being caused by something else tho.

I have preference to enable this setting in the Task Manager. But after soft reset or rebooting of the phone, the setting always get unchecked.

i have tried wktask before but i have gotten rid of it...
the uninstall was not clean?

I was looking for a task manager that show small icons on top bar.
i have installed WkTASK on my touch hd original rom
but it seems that TouchFLO 3D does not let it work,
then i installed Magic Button - the program is warking ok but does not fit
graphically the WVGA screen of the touch HD.
is there any new applicatin that is doing a combination of both WkTASK and
Magic Button (Task manager on top and program launcher)?

the program launcher cannot be configure and the top task bar is not
stable - i have to slecet it few times to into preferences - it looks like TouchFLO 3D is tring to close the applicatin
I used WkTask with Stock ROM, 3 Cooked WM6.1 and 2 WM6.5 and no problems at all.
Install WkTask, run WkTask then set TF3d (manila.exe) as "hide always".

yes that's the battery meter.
try going through the preferences in Wktask, there's quite a lot of stuff you can configure
The "top bar instability" is because you probably have HTC taskmanager working at the same time.. so it's trying to work out which app to open..
Disable the HTC taskmanager button function in settings/system/taskmanager.

Have you tried the hd connection toggle switches, there is a gprs toggle in there too

Hola, in that case, you´d need to search for it in spb threads, either here in Mini Section or in HD2 section Cause everything else will be either "hidden" in start menu or might not work. You´ll need a specific toggle for SPB or set the app (like dataController) as quicklink in SPB (if you want it to look like a toggle, just replace the apps png or check registry for icon path for exe)

hi,already put datacontroller how quicklink but i ll want some which no need enter in a program,and then select on/off and then finally close the app.
I'll like a button,directly in spb ,how plane,bluetooth,wi-fi buttons.
that because if im at work i need to be fast to on and off data( yes ok i must'nt use phone at work i know).
time ago i found an app with u can say,at what time,or frequency ,of start WiFi phone and bluetooth but missed GPRS damn...
