Will This Work on Universal - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro Accessories

Hi All:
I saw This card and it says that the SDHC listed here will work the Jasjar, Exec(Universal), however I don't think it does.
Have any of you ordered an know if this works on universal?
TIA
Karma

With the new SDHC update which is included in the newer unofficial Roms or which can be installed via cab, it will work. Without - no chance.
If you want to be sure, take a 4 GB nonSDHC which are avaible too, those will definitivly work without any other issus.
Regards,
MPW

[ROM] 2.73.771.73 update.zip (rooted/unrooted) + Generic Rooted 12-01-2010

Here are the update.zip's for the H3G network.
Here is the unrooted version stock straight from the RUU
http://www.mediafire.com/?l4yo1mttmnx
MD5 = 75A41E9BCFF3AB1324681F7CAEA14A8F
And then the rooted version, this also contains Cyanogens APN list from a MoDaCo Rom so it will work on all networks.
http://www.mediafire.com/?tom1ggkezec
MD5 = CA5AF82B57BBC9927FD5FECFB8A5C134
Another built and tested this is a generic rom rooted, with APN list from MoDaCo 3.2 Thanks. This is NOT official all I have done is stripped out the 3 customisations and added generic files from 405.66.
http://www.mediafire.com/?yl2mzghdymz
MD5 = D1A3F532116A19ECBFC3B2999093D34E
ENSURE YOU DO A NANDROID BACKUP SO YOU CAN 'ROLL BACK' IF REQUIRED!
Also this wipes your data partition so you will lose all applications and settings.
With the german language, or only english?
Thanks
Only English, have a 'generic' type like the 405 roms being tested tomorrow. I will post when done and happy with it.
What´s the difference between this and MoDaCo 3.1 ?
Dan.. Well done. Goodluck.

Seriously? Quite a lot!
This ROM is just straight from HTC, bog stock standard but rooted and with new access points. There are no other tweaks or apps like the dozens in MCR3.1.
Read the changelog/featurelist of MCR, everything written in there has been changed from a stock ROM just like this one.
Has this rom got all the network logo`s etc on? or have you managed to get rid of them all?.

Its stock as it comes, straight from HTC. So it includes all logos, links etc.
Generic version coming shortly.
To All potential users, I just flashed to try and found that all vital elements like, wifi, gps, mobile network are operational. Basically everything in a cupcake as expected. It is also speedy. Only needs A2SD.

I thought roms cooked by other chefs also came originally from official sources. Thanks for educating.

in the first version wifi wasn't working correctly, at least not for those who tried. maybe it would have worked for 3 users.
as it is a stock, i guess it is android 1.5 isn't it?

Same here with generic rom. Downloaded again and it works.
Hey :-D
Currently I have the rooted 66-Version running (thanks to you lol) and it had some great improvements in speed and stability. Does the new ROM have some "visible" and "noticable" improvements?
BB.

Yeah it´s 1.5.
BB.
First post edited, added MD5 checksums so people can check them after downloading.
There shouldnt be anyone getting verification failed, means part of the file or signature is missing.
Dan
Does someone see an Improvement in this ROM?
BB.

FYI: New OTA firmware

I just did a software update check, and it came up with a new OTA firmware. It's also listed on the HTC support site.
yup - it's here too.... updating now.
Let's see what it do
Screenshots of versions when it completes would be nice.
Wonder if theres a new radio.
edit: from a post below:
32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2
2.6.32.15
2.10.405.2
downloading as we speak... Damnit! well, its not gingerbread..
The RUU has been out for a while, been running it over a week now...doesn't do a lot but you now get the voice mic on the keyboard and new radio (well, old but new to stock WWE ROMs)
I'm very disappointed
They still haven't fixed the AAC (he-aac v2) bug. What's the problem with implementing the patch google have released HTC???? I guess I have to delete my whole music collection and re-encode into ogg instead.
Talk about multimedia phone!
Also peep is messed up again, to bad since it worked fine in 2.2 since twitter fixed the bug since apparently HTC was to lazy to try themselves.
It seems I'll be getting a Samsung device next time...
*** EDIT *** Forget about the peep issue, it started to work after a few sync tries but the music issue is there and that's what bugs me the most...

Any consensus on the new(ish) radio?
Seems to work fine, it's been out a while anyway
has someone extracted the new radio yet?
It's not new, it's been in the radio thread for ages, see my signature for version
It's here anyway (link from the radio thread)

Good luck with that one! The Galaxy S issues (GPS, lag etc) seem far worse than the Desire's. I'm sure these things will be fixed, but then again I'm sure your AAC issue will too - eventually!

Dave

Any issues for Orange users who have unbranded their Desires?
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
Just installed it in 5 minutes.. my phones seems a little bit zippier then before.. dont know what the android patch is.. but it seems ok !
I become a signature error with my rooted Desired (rooted with unrevoked).
Any ideas?
Maybe with a rooted device you need to use the RUU version, but you loose the root
If you were branded first you'll need your gold card
Did anyone encounter wifi problems after the update? On my device I get I can't enable it anymore. Reboot doesn't solve the problem.

Stability Enhancement Update

Just noticed this update on HTC's support pages. No idea what it actually improves but here is the link anyway....
http://dl4.htc.com/Driver//HTC Touch Pro2/RHO_S2_00895.exe
Link leads to: http://www.htc.com/www/. I tried to find on support page for TP2 but nothing new...
Wooot! This smellz heavy like a fix for SoD!
I found inside the update:

Consistent_hang

Two questions:
- If we flashed our TP2, should we install this update or not?
- Is it good for both CDMA and GSM TP2?
Thanks.

Yes, I got informations that the most custom roms for Rhod devices got this issue.
Yes, I bet it's compatible with both RHod versions. This fix is intended to work on Europe customized based devices, but I'm pretty sure this is independent from customization.
anyone apply this yet using one of the Energy roms?

Will it work on cm 4.1.3 ?
Can someone please upload me this ver (cm-10.1-20130329-NIGHTLY-n7100.zip)?
Best Regards
Gadi
what driver exactly you talking about?
if it's Samsung ADB driver, i think it works on (almost) every version of rom.
OTG wifi card

Hi,
The driver is for OTG ext WIFI card, Will it work?
Best Regards

AFAIK, it's a universal driver so it 'should' works across versions of rom.
Or you can try installing Kies and get the driver from it.
It won't hurt to try
Hope that helps
Cheers

Working now....
Awesome! I'm trying
Ok so I tried this rom finally! Here's my feedback:
First of all I'm a bit confused why is this called cyanogenmod 14, because its not cm. It looks like the vanilla aosp from a one plus device or maybe nexus. It has no cm features.
Secondly like stated in the op this is indeed for chinese storage. I can confirm lvm does not work.
Stock gallery does not show all the picture folders. However quickpic from playstore works fine.
Music players can't detect songs on my sd card. But I can play them from file explorer.
I didn't test bluetooth for now.
Other than these things, this is really smooth and stable for an initial test build. So kudos to the dev for bringing N so quickly for our devices! You can use this as a daily driver

Looks like the Russian one is working for me, hopefully it doesn't stop mid download! Thanks for your help
Just to confirm process from RR with LVM would be;
1) Use tools to perform chinese unify (Should wipe entire device)
2) Flash TWRP
3) Flash the new CM14 Rom, gapps and all that good stuff
4) Profit???
Ok well I'm flashing the rom now and everything has gone through without issue! the tool only took about 2:50 for me.
For anyone trying to get English in twrp, second from bottom on the right and then select the globe icon at the top
Please, can someone explain the difference between chinese storage partition and LVM? Not technically, of course. I want to know about partitions and their sizes.
Thanks again.

From what I can tell the LVM method is a linux storage method that allows data to be stored in a varying sized partition by allowing on the fly resizing. The chinese method of dealing with the sotorage partition looks pretty much the same, if you look at the free app storage space it will be only around 100mb or less, but as you install more apps more space is allocated so it appears there is the entire device storage available.
I would assume the only difference would be in the way the Rom sees and interacts with the device storage. But on the most part there doesn't seem to be any real world issues, everything seems to work great and I wouldn't know it wasn't running on the LVM partition.
