Is it possible to check that is HardSPL is successfully installed or not?

Enter in Bootloader mode and you will se the SPL version...

And do this by pressing simultaneusly on the right power and left OK buttons while at same time insert the stylus into the SR hole. If you do it right you enter the BL (Bootloader) where you can have your confirmation.

This Rom is a Beta Rom with a whole lot of issues. Make sure you read some of the threads related to it before you install it!!!

Do you have other rom??
It's not officially released yet.
During the installation , I've got an error [260] that cannot connect the Phone via USB Cable ...
Can anybody help me fix the problem ?

Hi all, new to all this.
I have spent the last 6 days scanning the forums and wiki about upgrading to the offical rom for the trinity to WM6.
I have tried super cid and sim unlocks as well as Hard SPL and many other tricks and advice from users.
None of them seem to work.
Does anyone have a real idea (a proper technical answer) as to why the progress stops @ 28% on this update and not on any of the cooked roms?
I would really appreciate some help on this.....

I know, but I have been using this for Six day's and tried all avenues. The reason to ask here is one of frustration.

my guess is something about the ipl or spl, since after you remove those and put it in a modified RUU it works..

First flash hard spl before flashing this rom!

And dont hold me responsible if this update fails for you.
It worked fine for me.
Spl and Ipl are removed , and splash screens changed to htc screens.
Thats all , so it still has latest radio and extrom.
I advise you to soft reset when you first boot your trin and see the screen that says customization will start in 3 seconds.

Hey I was typing the response as your did also....
I think this is what I did. Works great. Still seems to be a problem.
Where can I learn more about spl, ipl, hard spl and all those technical terms...???

i just use the ROM number version and didn't work , try it yourself.....
First i want to say hello to all here on the forum. I just registered, did some research but i could not find what i was looking for.
My HTC 3700 have loader SPL-1.40.Olinex installed (Volume- & Reset)
Before i start try change my bootloader i want be sure i can reinstall the original loader (warranty), thats mean the one who is inside my HTC now or another one i can download from internet.
- is there a program that allow me to backup my actual bootloader to PC or ..
- can i download the original SPL-1.40.Olinex from internet, and if yes where can i find it ?
I am sorry if i start my topic with a request. I will keep searching on internet and hope i can find it

bootloader is already patched. It seems that you either received phone with non-original bootloader or someone replaced original bootloader with patched version for you.

if it says Olinex. that means it has been already patched. olinex is one of the most respected users of this forum and that means you don't have the original spl. it means this device has been already patched with a spl provided by olinex. where did you buy your device?
