This is a silly question.
I have gotten a whole bunch of ExtROMs from the FTP and I know that I can selectively install the CABs from each ROM. I have seen CABs in the ROM kitchen (like EZ wap) that I cannot find anywhere in the ExtROMs.
Is there a ROM repository on the FTP, or on this site where I can download individual CABs and customization files?

Hi, I've tried a few of the WM6 builds, there are apps in some and not in others, does anyone know whether theres a site/location with them as cab files? if not then can we use this thread to upload the extracted cab files. I'm specifically looking for the task manager app.
Your best bet is to read through the posts of the WM6 build you install or interested in.
You need to be aware that a cab (apps, fixes, etx.) made for 1 build may NOT work for another. Also, the cab that works may not necessarily be a cab based on the latest actual version of the app you want.
On this page: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_Cooked_ROMs , where you'll find Hermes Cooked roms, is a chart showing EXTRAS available for various builds. At least you can get the correct version numbers of app/cabs you're intereted in, for a particular rom.
Here is cab information thread for certain trinity roms, which could be useful: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308931

It's for Trinity (but I believe most of them also work for Hermes).
I read the wikis but now I am even more confused then before. Do I need Pandora kitchen to decompile? Can someone direct me to the specific application as I know it can be done. I wanted to extract some cab files from the Schaps ROM but not sure how to go about this.
Thanks.
Use Pandora to build your own ROM from scratch, but use CorePro to work on a ROM you've downloaded and wish to add to (or cut down).
Remember that the only place you're likely to find cabs is in the extended ROM though - a ROM doesn't tend to contain cabs.
Enjoy.
I have searched for the last 2 hours and cannot come up with a good answer.
I have a collection of various ROMS that people have cooked up, for instance Blinky and others. There are some items I would like to grab from these ROM sets and either make my own or install a ROM and install these other file individually from the .cab files.
I guess the question is how would I go about tearing apart the .nbh file so I could get what I wanted from it?
ThanX in advance.
Use ROMDonalds kitchen to extract whatever you want out a ROM. Use the signature link before to search for the Kitchen!
What are these apps? From Where can I find the cab files to install in my Hermes WM6.1. Also I have seen Black System and Ring Volume control need that too.
Thanks
In the kitchen for that rom?
I didn't get. Not all ROM chefs has these application. I'm looking individual cab files.
Can anyone point out where can I find them
Thinking about installing a naked ROM for the first time. If I do, then where can I find the individual cab files for each of the applications I want to add back in?
Thanks
What app do you need? Please list it out and then some1 can help you.
you can find it in the diamond section of the forum, it's one of the sticky's
or you can download a kitchen, a rom and a cab compiler so you can extract them from a rom and then put it in a cab
Most chef's that host a LITE ROM also have a cab repository.
Also the search button does wonders - The google search is quite powerful for finding cabs. Just search opera 15613 .cab in google and you'll get a .cab for Opera 15613. Search for anything and .cab.
Everybody says search...
If you know, you should help.
